AFTRS Indigenous Teens Short Film Workshop April 18 - 21

Taught by experts at AFTRS, Australia's national screen and
broadcast school, the Short Film workshop is the perfect course for
gaining hands-on practical experience in the fundamentals of
filmmaking.
Conducted in a state-of-the-art film studio, students learnt all
they need to know about making a short film, as they worked with
top industry professionals and professional actors. They had the
opportunity to write, direct, shoot, produce and edit their own
film!

AFTRS Indigenous Kids Animation Workshop 18th to 19th
April 2011
For kids aged between 9-13 years old. This two day animation
workshop is designed to be creative, great fun and educational.
Kids got to develop their own animated films and bring their
imagination to life!
Taught by professional animators, a range of animation from
claymation, (think Wallace and Gromit) to cartoons were explored.
The kids put together their own animated shorts that they could
take home on DVD.
It was a wonderful opportunity for kids to work in a real life
environment with great teachers and make new friends!
