CATHERINE GLEESON

Head Foundation

Catherine Gleeson has been working as a Creative Director and Designer in new media since 1988, and has extensive experience in information design and visual communication. Catherine is the Interaction Design Mentor for the Laboratory for Advanced Media Production (LAMP) at AFTRS, and has previously taught in the Media Arts' interactive program at the Sydney College of Fine Arts (COFA UNSW).

She also maintains a separate creative practice through her company Platform09, doing collaborative, installation, motion graphics, animation
and multimedia design work, for theatre, film and video. She has completed projects for clients including the Sydney Greenspace Project, Cantina Uno, InterPLAY, AWV, Emirates, Palace Films, National Geographic, the Smithsonian Institute, American Museum of Natural History, National Gallery of Victoria, Foster's Brewing Group and Lonely Planet.
