BE INFLUENTIAL IN SHAPING AUSTRALIAN SCREEN CULTURE.

New technology has led to an explosion of easily accessible screen content that has the power to shape and define ideas and society. As you work through the ideas, theories, technologies, industry models and public policies for screen content and delivery you will learn how to develop and influence the direction of Australian screen culture. This course is for future arts and broadcast industry critics, commentators, curators, festival directors, arts administrators and project officers. The focus is on ideas, concepts and policies behind the screen industry and culture.

MASTER OF ARTS BY RESEARCH

EXTEND YOUR HORIZONS AND ENGAGE WITH THE BIG IDEAS THAT ARE SHAPING THE DIRECTIONS OF BOTH SCREEN CULTURE AND INDUSTRY IN AUSTRALIA.


This course is an opportunity for in-depth and self-directed research into the screen arts and broadcast industry about the ideas and issues that affect and excite you. Your research will lead to an original thesis with a written analytic or exegesis component. You will be supported by a carefully matched supervisor who will help you manage your substantial research and discovery process. The normal expectation is that you will complete your degree within two years of part time study.
